The vulcanic Iceland

As the name indicates, when travelling to Iceland you will be greeted by the sometimes harsh frozen natural landscapes, which are particularly expressed by the impressive glaciers and ice caves. At the same time, Iceland offers a surprisingly temperate climate in the summer, which is only enhanced by the many hot springs and pools that invite pure relaxation – perhaps after a long and adventurous hike or horse ride. Iceland is also known for the Icelandic horse race, which provides a completely authentic experience of Iceland, where you will find many guided tours that takes you around for an hour or two.

Although there is also the possibility of a trip in the city in Reykjavik, sightseeing is probably the thing that will take up most of your trip, where the weather must always be taken into consideration when planning the next trip. In Iceland, the weather and the living nature set the pace, which only helps to create the unique travel experience. A sightseeing tour that is a big draw for many tourists is the 'Golden Circle', which consists of three main attractions: Þingvellir National Park, Haukadalur geothermal valley and the majestic Gullfoss waterfall. Whether the trip should be combined with snorkeling or a trip on a snowmobile is up to you, but it can definitely be recommended.
